The EH-Process improves wear resistance and fatigue resistance by adjusting the nitriding depth to a processing depth of several tens of μm to several hundreds of μm considering the intended use, environment, and previous experience. By forming a nitride layer according to the intended use, it also provides improved life, such as improved heat crack resistance for die casting dies, etc.
Die cast mold
A 1 to 3 μm Black film is formed on the nitrided layer, making it ideal for aluminum die casting, magnesium die casting, etc.
Plastic mold
After EH processing with minimal deformation and size change, subsequent wrapping processing is easy, and as a special specification, we have a lineup of processing options that are optimal for #14000 finishing.
Stainless steel
Maintains high corrosion resistance for a glossy finish with our unique passivation film removal technology and low-temperature heat treatment
Hot work mold & tool
“D200” is suitable for hot dies that can withstand use at high temperatures above 900°C
Cold work mold & tool
Adds high durability and high functionality to machine tool parts that require finish accuracy
